Of the many, many courses I have taken on the Illumeo platform, this was definitely one of the best and most insightful. I have always found elements of "behavioral finance" to be fascinating and powerful in planning, strategy, and business performance. Mr. Stephens has bundled the leading theories and presented them as a unified new "dimension" for planners and leaders to factor in. He has done so in a manner that CFO's and other business leaders will undoubtedly find easy to digest, replete with useful examples. The consideration of these concepts will undoubtedly add value via improvement decision-making and more enlightened risk assessments. It's hard to distill the entire history of ethical thought down into a 2 hour business course, but I give credit to the instructor for making the effort.

A good summary of the gift tax rules. The narrator is obviously very knowledgeable about the topic. Good in depth detail was given as well.

I will comment on one aspect of the course in particular. The presenter recommended criminal background checks as a method to prevent fraud. He fails to address the issue that biases in the criminal justice system against racial minorities result in such checks having a disparate impact on those same minorities. He also does not address the fact that such checks will turn up information that is prejudicial but of questionable relevance for preventing fraud (for example, minor drug convictions or other minor violations of the law), which in turn will make it difficult for people with those convictions to move on from their pasts. Other than that, the course was good.

The information provided was great for beginners, but some of the methods seem to be outdated. Specifically as it relates to vlookups. I think details on the xlookup function would be a game changer for some! Also a further analysis of using index and match together.

Good in depth components around AP. I found the KPI section helpful. There was some overlap in the modules but overall well done.

I think anyone who looks over financial statements, but doesn't do the bookkeeping work, would benefit from this course. Some micromanagers believe just because the accounting software has all the things, you should use all the things.... ;)

This is a great course and should be taken and put to action by all managers/upper-mgmt. A lot of times I hear the 'vision' but don't always see it implemented or followed
