What I appreciated: The recap at the end is helpful to reinforce the most important concepts. The quizes are a nice touch because it tests your knowledge while you're watching the course. Areas of improvement: There is a lot of content in this short course, and it would be overwhelming for someone who has no experience in accounting. Additionally, I think it's much more helpful to learners to teach that Assets = Liabilities + Equity rather than Assets - Liabilities = Equity, so it reinforces the idea that Liabilities & Equity should have a credit balances. When going over the example for Lesson 2: Posting Entries (continued), it would be helpful to list the numbers we know before showing the correct entry.

This was a great overview/introduction to Power Query. Users with no exposure to the process will not be overwhelmed. Good supporting materials, but it would be nice to have access to the source files to make the practice more realistic. Overall highly recommended, especially to beginners.

Having been away from Excel for a while I remembered how to use VLOOKUP but couldn't recall how to use INDEX/MATCH. The exercises really helped me to regain that knowhow.

I felt that most topics were covered well, however all the possibilities of each topic could be explored a little more. For example, conditional formats. Go into the various options.

A lot of information and a step by step instruction. Very useful for anyone who has use for pivot tables.

The video is outdated should follow the format of some of the more recent excel courses that have been uploaded to illumeo. Slides for a video is not very effective and hard to follow. The live feed of where the instructor's cursor was from other videos is much more effective.

It would be better if the items were shown in motion (vs. the slide with numbers). Also the sound quality was a bit poor.

Other excel course provide excel worksheet example which are very helpful. Trying to following formulas on the screen was not always efficient as the screen was very small and hard to read.

I liked the pacing of the course, it starts simple and builds to the most complex. By the time you get to the complex you feel ready for it. I had not taken an earlier course so I was lost on a few of the shortcuts that were heavily referenced, but that was a minor problem.

A good refresher for Vlookup, however, The IFNA Function module seems to have completely repeated itself and is twice as long as the information actually is.

Every company out there should make the effort to do a Fraud Assessment as it is not a matter of IF Fraud will happen at your company - but when (or has it already happened?). Lynn provided a great background on what companies should do to get the ball rolling.
