This course had surprising tips. It is always good to be reminded what excel can do and surprising when I learn something I didn't know or get an idea I didn't think about. Ringstrom is always great at showing how to create efficiencies with Excel.

It's hard to distill the entire history of ethical thought down into a 2 hour business course, but I give credit to the instructor for making the effort.

What a fantastic course! This course was chock full of great tips and general ideas. Definitely a ton of "a ha" kind of moments and very helpful for those of us at the middle management level who would like to try to convince the Executive level that moving even at least to data mining would be helpful. Also, really appreciated the presenter's use of helpful visuals as well.

The information provided was great for beginners, but some of the methods seem to be outdated. Specifically as it relates to vlookups. I think details on the xlookup function would be a game changer for some! Also a further analysis of using index and match together.

David did good job explaining the basic uses of a Pivot Table and breaking things down in steps to make the process easy to understand. I'll use this knowledge in the future in creating Pivot Tables.

Materials need some improvement. They are just bullet points without any context. That's good for normal presentations, but won't be useful if trying to use as a guide later on when the information is not fresh in our minds.

Overall, a good course to learn about multiple lookup equations.

Having 3 different people jumping back and forth caused a lot of confusion and the material seemed to have gaps. Specifically betwen slide 22 & 23. At the beginning of slide 23 she says thank you for all of that insight....what insight? I didn't hear any insight from slide 22 as it seemed they skipped over half of that slide. The presentation was very choppy. I ended up stopping the presentation and just thumbing through the slides to get a passing exam. There are other really great courses on AI within Illumeo to explore

This course was very informative and gives interesting perspectives for anyone who pays taxes.

The supporting material slides pdf differs significantly from the video presentation. It looks like the video was updated and the slides were not updated to match the video.

This is one of the worst classes I have taken. The lecture is obviously read off a script and not well done. The content of the slides is not in a great format. Finally the review and final exam have a bunch of questions that don't even make sense. Skip this.

Great lesson. There are many Excel features that are not known by the vast majority of users. Illumeo does a good job of providing content to help bring those to light.

i thought this was a solid course and i liked the real-world examples because it made the topic more interesting and tangible.

I appreciate some of the functions that have been used in the past or can be used by combining functions to an extent that it helps understanding the new functions. But in this presentation there seemed to be so much of it became confusing or a bit of information overload.

This course provided an excellent overview of cyber security. I would recommend this course for anyone, especially those newer to the field of cybersecurity.

Information presented will be very useful! It was presented in an easy to follow format. I learned several short-cuts to convert emails to tasks to calendar items. The tips provided relative to using the Notes section in Outlook will also be very helpful There is no doubt that I will be able to use the information provided in this course to better manage my time and and track my tasks. After taking this course, I am definitely going to follow it up with his course on Email management.

This was a very helpful course. I appreciated the conciseness and clarity of the explanations. It was beneficial to see the T-accounts and Journal Entries written out. That helps solidify in my mind what is going on in the accounting process.

I am somebody that hopes and believes that crypto will be the future of payments and investing. The one thing I do not like is how scared people get when you mention the word crypto. People are also very misinformed a lot of times or just do not care to be informed. So my only critique would be the fact that the risks of cryptocurrencies are comparable to investing in stocks or holding cash in a bank account. Illegal acts have been happening since the dawn of man and cryptocurrency has a fraction of wrongdoing on its RAP sheet compared to cash and other financial tools. Just trying to make crypto seem less scary. Change is good.

This is a great ethics class aimed at actually teaching ethics. No trickery or mind-binding questions to unnecessarily make this important requirement hard to understand.

Much prefer video presentations. Case facts are much more obvious than typical fraud cases. CPA should never practice again demonstrating no knowledge and/or interest in identifying basis of fair financial presentation or uncovering significant issues with client financials.

What I did not get from this course was comparing to different worksheets of data elements and trying to look for matches (comparing 2 different reports to validate that data agrees). Also, when the exam is finished and the passing grade has been received, it would be nice to see the questions again so we can see which ones may have been incorrect and going back and reviewing the data again.

There were many tips for older versions of excel, not applicable in my case.

The course is excellent, it adds a different perspective in the function of the CAE as part of the company.

I'm a self-taught, no manual "trial and error" Excel user, who uses "intuition" and experience to create what I have to do. This often leads to long and convoluted steps to get to the final product. I learned a couple of features that basically cut those long convoluted steps to a step or two.

Good job logically laying this out. The use of video to demonstrate the technique was excellent. The instructor would be easier to listen to if he didn't end every sentance with "right?"

The video is outdated should follow the format of some of the more recent excel courses that have been uploaded to illumeo. Slides for a video is not very effective and hard to follow. The live feed of where the instructor's cursor was from other videos is much more effective.

I thought the instructor could spend less time on the non functional portions and more time on the "homework".

I really liked the workarounds for the vlookup formula and learning about the Index formula. I will definitely start utilizing these methods in my spreadsheets. The worksheets were very helpful.

Every company out there should make the effort to do a Fraud Assessment as it is not a matter of IF Fraud will happen at your company - but when (or has it already happened?). Lynn provided a great background on what companies should do to get the ball rolling.
