It’s obvious to anyone who had to manage a team, or work with others not in the same location, that it is more difficult to trust, understand, cooperate with and get things done when people aren’t face-to-face.

Thus, in order to be successful with Distant Teams – whether they be in the next room, down the street or across a ocean – we need extra-ordinary strategies.

Looking at the problems and potential solutions, this course also looks to High-Performance Teams (A Teams) and Finding and Retaining "A Players" to get our ideas as to how to make our distant teams more successful.

We explore a number of real-world examples of organizations and teams that work well as well as critical things to avoid.
