This course walks you through an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) framework to help you understand the main components and processes of EPM and how they interrelate with one another.  It covers the four cornerstones of EPM as well as the glue that holds it all together, where each one answers a common business question, including:

-“Where are we right now?” (Statutory and management consolidation and reporting)

-“Why did we get the results we got?” (Business analytics)

-“Given what we know, what’s the next best thing to do?” (Financial what-if modeling)

-“Who is on the hook to do what, by when?” (Budgeting, planning and forecasting)

-“Are we doing this the right way?” (Financial systems governance and data quality)

This introduction will show EPM as a holistic business process that helps Finance partner with operations, marketing, sales, and all other areas of the business to help them garner new business insights, make fact-based decisions, and better deploy resources.

The title is misleading, I thought the instructor was going to talk more about the concern of the CFO in running the organization, new technology adoption etc.

Spot on, easier to identify these mistakes while harder to consistently avoid.

Excellent course for helping refresh what most of us learned in Intermediate Accounting. Content is good and well delivered. My only complaint is the sound quality isn't great in a couple of the modules and should be redone.

Great class- one of the better ones! As someone who has a published book, I can attest to the importance of editing.

Overall great webinar. It would be helpful to reduce the number of abbreviations in the slides though.

It seemed that slides were not in order. For example, the review of the first question was not presented until the final section. Also, 120/240 equals 50% not 240/120, which equals 2, as shown on the slides.
