The term "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBBA) refers to a comprehensive budget reconciliation law signed into law by President Trump on July 4, 2025.
This legislation is an expansive package, estimated at nearly 900 pages, with broad impacts across various sectors, including the economy, the tax code, and social programs. The bill extends many of the expiring provisions from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). It also addresses other tax priorities of the Trump administration. The tax provisions in this bill will help facilitate tax planning earlier in the year.
This course is aimed to focus on the specific tax bill provisions that will directly impact individual tax payers. It is an “overview” of the changes and not intended to be a in-depth dive into any single topic. Future webinars will take these topics and provide more background, history and detail about the concepts.
