In its purest sense, performance management is a continuous process of communication between a supervisor and an employee that takes place throughout the year. At its core, it serves to support the accomplishment of strategic objectives as defined by the organization. But what if, at its core, performance management focused on the individual and his/her strategic objectives for the year? What might this process look like and how might this approach better serve the organization?

This course focuses on answering these questions by examining how Human Resources (HR) - and its professionals - can create true differentiation while bringing unique value to the “corporate table”.

As HR professionals share this unique approach with organizational employees by leading them to drive their own performance, the organization can expect new and creative ways in which to address and execute the organization’s goals while allowing any employee level to contribute to new company strategic goal development.

This course is appropriate for both junior and senior HR professionals interested in partnering with organizational employees to bring out the very best in them so that ultimately, those capabilities can be shared within the organizational context to drive radical outcomes.

I like to read the slide decks in the pdf format. The pdfs for this course were not sufficient to learn the content.

Of the many, many courses I have taken on the Illumeo platform, this was definitely one of the best and most insightful. I have always found elements of "behavioral finance" to be fascinating and powerful in planning, strategy, and business performance. Mr. Stephens has bundled the leading theories and presented them as a unified new "dimension" for planners and leaders to factor in. He has done so in a manner that CFO's and other business leaders will undoubtedly find easy to digest, replete with useful examples. The consideration of these concepts will undoubtedly add value via improvement decision-making and more enlightened risk assessments. Thank you for such a quality contribution to the Illumeo portfolio!!
