This course, presented by Technical Accounting in collaboration with Google Fixed Assets, focuses on PP&E Accounting at Alphabet. It is geared toward Googlers in Alphabet corporate reporting and accounting. Topics in this course include:

  • An overview of Alphabet’s PP&E policy, including updates related to SAP-R3.
  • Identification of the scope and definitions within Alphabet’s PP&E policy.
  • Alphabet’s PP&E processes and steps:
    • Subsequent measurement
    • Impairment
    • Disclosure
    • The GFA convention process

Successful completion of this course will result in 1.5 CPE credits for CPAs.

Prerequisites
