I am a CPA that works in a publicly traded company and most of the ethics courses are firm based. I like the perspective on this course being non-firm.

It's hard to distill the entire history of ethical thought down into a 2 hour business course, but I give credit to the instructor for making the effort.

This was a very thorough yet straightforward introduction to higher-level Excel concepts. The course will only give a basic understanding of using tools like Power Query and VBA Macros, so further courses should be explored to gain more proficiency in these areas.

It is a very lengthy topic. I like it but it would be better if can have more detail of each subsection. Feel like it is not enough and wish to have more examples.

It is helpful to assist me to understand better in what is expected as a senior associate and how I can better improve myself to excel in my career as I grow together with CNM in CNM.

I will comment on one aspect of the course in particular. The presenter recommended criminal background checks as a method to prevent fraud. He fails to address the issue that biases in the criminal justice system against racial minorities result in such checks having a disparate impact on those same minorities. He also does not address the fact that such checks will turn up information that is prejudicial but of questionable relevance for preventing fraud (for example, minor drug convictions or other minor violations of the law), which in turn will make it difficult for people with those convictions to move on from their pasts. Other than that, the course was good.

Mr. Ringstrom is an excellent instructor; I like that he goes through the PowerPoint and then shows it live in Excel. I will be back for more courses.

This is a very comprehensive overview of the IPO process from the CFO perspective. It is particularly helpful to know the flow of the process from beginning to end, what parties are involved and their respective responsibilities during the IPO process as well as what one needs to pay attention and any related rules should be considered.

Excellent - gave me a good understanding of SOX by providing the history and timeline of the changes.

I liked that he gave specific rules and guidelines to making a PowerPoint. I think there is more I could learn in this department. The best tool I will take away from this webinar is the 8H Rule.
