This course gives great suggestions of how to deal with people with different personalities.

I did not know how to do sumifs so this was very helpful. I did know Vlookups but it was interesting knowing the difference between them. I would recommend this course to anyone who doesn't know how to do either.

What a fantastic course! This course was chock full of great tips and general ideas. Definitely a ton of "a ha" kind of moments and very helpful for those of us at the middle management level who would like to try to convince the Executive level that moving even at least to data mining would be helpful. Also, really appreciated the presenter's use of helpful visuals as well.

I believe that there is some audio repetition about half way through. Great course, might just want to take a look at that.

Interesting framework, although not exactly revolutionary thinking. However, does give some helpful tips on where to start, how to evaluate progress, and a reminder on how to drive long term career success.

I will comment on one aspect of the course in particular. The presenter recommended criminal background checks as a method to prevent fraud. He fails to address the issue that biases in the criminal justice system against racial minorities result in such checks having a disparate impact on those same minorities. He also does not address the fact that such checks will turn up information that is prejudicial but of questionable relevance for preventing fraud (for example, minor drug convictions or other minor violations of the law), which in turn will make it difficult for people with those convictions to move on from their pasts. Other than that, the course was good.

This was a good course if you're looking for short and sweet. It was a little retro in the presentation, but the information was still valid.

Learned new items in excel I didn't know before. At age 66, wish i had known before now.

Great overview for end of year, helpful for preparation and review of statements

The course covers a significant amount of material that is often uncommon such as disposal of divisions and going concern treatments. It's well done and interesting.

I especially appreciated the David Foster Wallace commencement speech at the end.

Liked the course. Questions on specific states laws in the quiz were a bit confusing.

What I appreciated: The recap at the end is helpful to reinforce the most important concepts. The quizes are a nice touch because it tests your knowledge while you're watching the course. Areas of improvement: There is a lot of content in this short course, and it would be overwhelming for someone who has no experience in accounting. Additionally, I think it's much more helpful to learners to teach that Assets = Liabilities + Equity rather than Assets - Liabilities = Equity, so it reinforces the idea that Liabilities & Equity should have a credit balances. When going over the example for Lesson 2: Posting Entries (continued), it would be helpful to list the numbers we know before showing the correct entry.

The instructor was very well spoken and easy to follow. But who ever wrote the course exams did not proof read at all. Not only were there several typos, but several were missing key words to the question. Thankfully the answers listed make it relatively simple to figure out which one option is correct, but it came off a bit sloppy.

It is a good course to gain an understanding of the Not for Profit entities. The instructor is clear and detailed.

The audio was very low in this course, it was hard to hear. I appreciated the negotiations portion of this course, it was very insightful.

If you want a good refresher or overview of ASC 606, this course provides that. If you wanted answers on how COVID impacts the application of ASC 606, this course is good at identifying questions to consider but leave many questions unanswered.

I am somebody that hopes and believes that crypto will be the future of payments and investing. The one thing I do not like is how scared people get when you mention the word crypto. People are also very misinformed a lot of times or just do not care to be informed. So my only critique would be the fact that the risks of cryptocurrencies are comparable to investing in stocks or holding cash in a bank account. Illegal acts have been happening since the dawn of man and cryptocurrency has a fraction of wrongdoing on its RAP sheet compared to cash and other financial tools. Just trying to make crypto seem less scary. Change is good.

This was a good overview of data modeling & the progressive ways available in Excel of data consolidation.

Though the material in this course was well thought out and presented, I found it distasteful and unpatriotic to include a former president, not just as an example of an amoral/immoral leader, but also the answer to an exam question. Keep your politics out of my professional learning materials...

This is an excellent starter course to get anyone who is interested in the new revenue recognition standards, ASC 606, familiar with the new requirements. It breaks down the 5 step model and explains what is required for each step.

Always have heard "it's who you know and not what you know." However, something always felt wrong about that. R*R=S: seeing it on paper (slideshow) crystallized success and is a far better way to view success.

The instructor gives me much to think about. There is so much in here that I think many aren't willing to say even though we know it to be true. There are many politics involved in the workplace. It is unfortunate, but reality, and he helps you to work through this unfortunate reality.
