Great course and presentation! Instructor does an excellent job at explaining ratios and analysis so that it is easily followed.
What a fantastic course! This course was chock full of great tips and general ideas. Definitely a ton of "a ha" kind of moments and very helpful for those of us at the middle management level who would like to try to convince the Executive level that moving even at least to data mining would be helpful. Also, really appreciated the presenter's use of helpful visuals as well.
When preparing for an Internal Control Certificate, it's essential to choose resources that align with the specific certification or credential you are pursuing and to dedicate sufficient time to study and practice. I would recommend this course.
I think the instructor does a great job explaining the information and providing good examples.
The excitement of the content combined with the enthusiasm and insight of Mr. Wasny make this course, along with those he presents on AI, the most inspiring and motivational I've experienced on this platform.

This was a good course on the topic of internal controls. It was a very good refresher for me.
The course covers a significant amount of material that is often uncommon such as disposal of divisions and going concern treatments. It's well done and interesting.
Informative, interesting and up-to-date. Useful for all employees, particularly for managers.
Concise review of journals, ledgers and GL. Good use of examples. The PDFs are extremely helpful as I listened to the recording.
I really appreciate the CPE surrounding IT risks. Hoping to see more about OT risks in the future ... given IT/OT convergence (standards are: 62443, Purdue and cross-reference to NIST). I am an IT/OT Third Party Risk Manager, and my focus is Operations Tech (large manufacturing). Thank you!
Slides did not cover all necessary information for quiz.
Presenter is easy to listen to but, the course needs real world examples - not just reading tax brackets.

This is an excellent course from Lynn Fountain! The real-life scenarios and current event considerations bring life to the topic.
"How should the control environment be viewed by organizations?" <--Based on the expected answer, this question is written extremely poorly & is misleading.
This course was great. It talked about the various types of culture, employee behaviors, how to recognize when culture needs a change, and how to implement it. Overall, I would recommend this course!
Great teacher! I like how he thoroughly explains each point/topic.
Lynn, the generational divide is an important concept to understand when hiring. This class helps me to understand the challenges in how I must lead the different members on my Team. The biggest challenge is in group meetings and in Team building. This course is very helpful. Thank you, Larry
The course was adequate but suggest you relook at the questions. The use of not in the questions is very confusing even for the most experienced person. Also your question in the final exam on incentives is poorly worded
The Course provides a birds eye view of the CAE/IA landscape and how a CAE should shape up the function. The Course provides insight on the changing expectations of the stake holders as well as the need for the IA function to play a more dominant role at the Board Level. I was expecting some practical case studies of IA functions from across corporations as part of best practices learning, and to this limited extent the Course was inhibiting.
Very well structured and easy to understand. The course materials provided a great overview of the topic and very clear. The pace allowed for a proper understanding of the topic.
A good course and easy to understand, organizations should focus on continous improvement.

It was very interesting to get perspective from someone who has worked in both external and internal audit. This was a great refresher on what goes into consideration when issuing an audit opinion.
Segregation of duties: one of my favorite topics in audit. This is definitely a much harder concept to implement in smaller companies where staff are limited.
A very thorough course covering all important areas: skill for IA management, managing the IA function, and building effective relationships with the Audit Committee. To be successful with the Audit Committee IA should make sure that management takes appropriate action to audit findings before raising the issue with the Audit Committee.
questions at end didn't well match topics covered in the course.
I thought this course was very interesting and I learned a few things I never knew before.
While downloading the slide deck noticed the slides on communication were missing.
This was a very confusing one. I finally passed when I answered one question which seemed again what the material and I understood. It was question six. I disagree that it should be answer A. A going concern is considered when a company has issues about going a year from the opinion letter date.

Course provides very good information related to the difference between general controls and application controls.
I strongly recommend this course to anyone with the hotline.
Really liked discussion around the two types of leadership and the characteristics of each. Good guidance from presenter in terms of focusing on one of two qualities to improve over the next 6 months. Overall a very practical session that anyone can benefit from.
Great information! Easy to understand and overall meaningful content....
This course covered various leadership style, with pros and cons for adopting/applying each style. However, adding to the slides the pictures of leaders ( who may or may not have demonstrated certain leadership style) was a distraction and minimized the course effectiveness. For example, was Princess Diana an inspiration leader? Perhaps not! Was Dr. King a non-authoritarian leader? Absolutely not!!! This course is about organizational leadership. Therefore, perhaps the author should use corporate leaders (past and present) and specific corporate examples to depict each leadership type AND to make the course stronger.
excellent refresher for everyone especially those that teach college level classes, manage accounting departments, train peers and subordinates or anyone in the profession so they can speak to clients, peers, teams about the financial statement process and help them understand the process an resulting statements!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good course. I particularly appreciate the weight given to emphasizing change management practices and preparing the company for the change - too often this is missed and, as his metrics show, the outcomes are weak.
