This instructor gave an easy to follow overview of FBAR Issues. We must take into account that 2024 may have some differences such as maximum penalty. But this was a clear and concise presentation of the nuances regarding FBAR and Form 8938 Filings.

The course was very informative and interesting. The skills to be involved with the Internal Audit function are both technical and interpersonal. As we work towards this function, it is difficult to find staff with the right skill set. The instructor was very good and understandable.

I will comment on one aspect of the course in particular. The presenter recommended criminal background checks as a method to prevent fraud. He fails to address the issue that biases in the criminal justice system against racial minorities result in such checks having a disparate impact on those same minorities. He also does not address the fact that such checks will turn up information that is prejudicial but of questionable relevance for preventing fraud (for example, minor drug convictions or other minor violations of the law), which in turn will make it difficult for people with those convictions to move on from their pasts. Other than that, the course was good.

Very good, in-depth look at rental properties and personal residences in many possible forms. As for the exam, the home exclusion question's answer is incorrect. Technically the rule is 2 out of 5 years before the sale, so even if the property is rented out through 2022, that means that 2018-2019 it was personal use and then 2020-2022 was rented.

I am a visual learner, so I wish there had been more information on the PowerPoints at times, but that is individual preference and I understand why there wasn't. It was just that examples were hard to follow when she would rapidly name off accounts/dollar values. But it didn't impact my overall understanding of the topic.

There were so many grammatical and spelling mistakes in the final exam and throughout the slides, I am shocked. The ideas were also incredibly outdated and there is a strong bias throughout.

This is an excellent refresher course that I would recommend. It is a good suggestion to keep the slide materials for future reference and is also great for recertification of the CPP. I highly recommend this course.

Quick refresher course on the fundamentals of the BS. It did discuss the IS to discuss RE. Really great for CPE but not helpful if you are looking for further knowledge. This would be great to review before watching more advanced dives into specific accounts or principals.

If you want a good refresher or overview of ASC 606, this course provides that. If you wanted answers on how COVID impacts the application of ASC 606, this course is good at identifying questions to consider but leave many questions unanswered.

Good course it has some useful tips. My only issue is this course seems to be outdated (2014?) for the new functions of Outlook

This was a fantastic course on how to handle questions and complications that arise due to employing employees who work in multiple states throughout the year. The instructor provided a lot of great information with state specific charts, data and examples.
